Device Programming Services

The 'UniSite' supports thousands of different device types, including bipolar PROMs, EPROMs, EEPROMs, FLASH PROMs, PALs, GALs, PEELs, FPGAs, and microcontrollers (including the PIC series). If you have a specific requirement, and are unsure if your device type is supported, please drop us an E-mail note.

Programming rates are as follows. All jobs carry a one-time $20.00 equipment setup charge.

Supported Device Package Types:

When submitting a request for quotation, we need the following information.

• Preferred return shipping method (orders of less than 100 devices are shipped via USPS Priority Mail unless you specify otherwise).
• File format that you intend to supply the source image file in (Intel Hex, Binary, COSMAC, whatever). We require the image file(s) to be written to a standard IBM PC-compatible floppy disk in any of the standard sizes (5.25" or 3.5" in 360 or 720K, or 1.44 MB). You can also E-mail attach the file(s) to us.
• Any other details, such as time-critical requirements.

We can also provide archiving services for rare and 'legacy' memory devices from equipment that may no longer be in production. The device(s) are read on the UniSite and saved to an image file in your choice of format (Absolute Binary, Data I/O #16, is the default). They are then transferred to your choice of archive media and shipped back along with the source device(s). At this time, we can support the following formats.

• All standard PC-compatible floppy sizes and densities.
• QIC-style cartridge tapes (DC600, DC6150, DC6250, DC6525, DC9250).
• 8mm tape (.tar format)
• 4mm tape (.tar format).
• 44, 88, or 200 MB SyQuest removable disk cartridge.
• Iomega 1 or 2GB 'Jaz' Cartridge.
• DLT2000XL through 7000 tapes.
• CD-ROM or DVD (all standard formats).
